Ministries

We intentionally practice the love of God for all people in our community in practical ways. Throughout our history we have provided worship and education for children, youth, and adults. We continue to provide places for people to share life and grow in faith through “Life Groups.” We provide a robust array of services to the community including a parish nursing program, mus and language classes, homeless ministry, and partnership with caring agencies. If you’d like to be part of any of these ministries just contact the church office.

MOPS

Our church will be starting a special outreach program for mothers of preschoolers. MOPS groups are gatherings of moms coming together for community, conversation and friendship. The goal of MOPS is to meet each mom where she is and walk beside her as she embarks upon the crazy and beautiful journey  of motherhood. Do you know any mothers who would be interested in joining in? We are currently recruiting people so we can get this started. Contact Fiona Reimers for more information.

Health Ministries

Our Faith Community Nurses partner with the Arcadia Methodist Hospital for holistic health programs in our community. This ministry is designed to enhance the ability of faith communities to promote health in body, mind and spirit to families, groups and the community. Our nurses assist in providing education, information and resources in the areas of disease prevention and wellness promotion. Their role includes health counseling, referral, training of volunteers and speaking about the relationship between faith and health.
